3. Children function
When performing tympanometric tests in children you can select the CHILDREN function. This option
distracts them from the test by showing images and animations on the display.
It is possible to switch from adult to child mode and vice versa by pressing the button
you can see in the picture. Animations automatically start by pressing the start button
or, if the autorun function has been activated, by inserting the probe into the ear. In the
latter case it is possible to manually start the video by holding down the child button for
a few seconds. In order to visualize the test result, the output key has to be pressed for 6
seconds.

4.3 Quick

R16M sequential tests are designed exclusively for rapid screening.
When pressing START, the device performs in rapid sequence a tympanometric test and a reflex test.
Test execution
Switch on the device and press the QUICK icon (see adjacent image) on main menu to
enter Quick test.
Reflex screening can include all of the settings of the full test. The user can define the parameters.
Up to three sets of parameters can be stored. To save the settings press one of the number icon on
the right side of the screen (for example icon 2) for some seconds util it turns green.
Please, refer to the previous sections of this manual for icons/buttons functions.
Some menu may differ for the 4300104145 code, because they do not have the
contralateral transducer and some reflex stimulus frequencies.
Indicates the probe status: probe open; probe closed; ready or autorun.
