Y, B, G curves visualization
Press the YBG icon (see adjacent image) to change view in tympanometry 1000 Hz
Admittance (Y); Conductance (G); Susceptance (B).
Contralateral transducer
Press the INSERT icon (see adjacent image) to select the Contralateral transducer in use.
This function allows switching between different contralateral transducers. Ensure that
any transducer to be connected is calibrated to the device. To change the settings keep
the button pressed for some seconds.
Tympanogram classification
When the tympanogram classification is enabled the device analyses the curve and
provides for its automatic identification as A, B, C or AD based on Jerger classification.
Calibration
Press the CALIBRATION icon (see adjacent image) to enter the Impedance calibration
page.
Only authorized personnel are allowed to perform calibration.

5.3 Compliance Calibration

It is advisable to run the compliance calibration check daily, using the cavities supplied.
To perform the calibration check, enter either tympanometry or reflex assessment mode.
Using a yellow clinical ear tip, insert the probe into the test cavities and ensure that the compliance
values read on the device correspond to the size of the cavity selected.
