The table in the centre of the display gives examination result values. These are displayed in red for
the right ear, and blue for the left.
To store the test results and return to the main page, simply press the BACK-button icon
(see adjacent image). The device automatically asks if you want to save and/or print the
test out on the thermal printer.
If save is selected, the R16M will open the patient database in order that demographics can
be completed.
2. Various indicators
This section indicates the status of the probe. Probe open, Probe closed, ready or
autorun will be displayed.
Indicates Real-time Compliance value read by the probe
Indicates Real-time Pressure value read by the probe
Indicates the tympanogram type identification based on Jerger's classification
automatically detected by the device and displayed in the upper right of the
tympanogram area performed at 226 Hz.
Press ZOOM + or ZOOM – icon (see adjacent image) to get a zoom of the
examination graphic display. By default, the ordinate shows mx 2ml. Zoom of
x0.5 / x2.5 / x3.5 / Absolute are available.
