1. Test parameters
Directly press on the area of the Reflexes visualization to change the ear to be tested (R / L). The upper
part of the track is red or blue colour based on the selected ear.
Some menu may differ for the 4300104145 code, because they do not have the
contralateral transducer and some reflex stimulus frequencies.
Press the IPSI icon (see adjacent image) to select whether to perform Reflexes test in IPSI
(Ipsilateral) or CONTRA (Contralateral) mode. The frequencies battery displayed on the
upper area is reserved for IPSI selection, while the lower is reserved for CONTRA. These
tests are manually performed. If you wish to perform an ipsilateral + contralateral test
sequence you can set I + C.
Press the SETUP icon (see picture aside) to enter the Reflexes test SETUP page.
Enable/disable the frequencies to be tested, the start and the maximum desired stimulus presentation
level (dB HL) and the duration of the same.
By setting the starting and ending levels at the same value, the test will be performed at that specific
value only, as if a manual reflex search was performed.
By setting two different values, the test will be performed looking for the threshold between the two
selected values.
The device provides for different maximum output levels depending on the frequency and on the Ipsi
or Contra output; if you wish to investigate the reflex up to the available maximum levels you only
need to press the Up-arrow key until setting MAX. For additional details on the maximum output
levels refer to section 13 Technical Data.
