The test results are displayed on the screen when the test is finalized:
PASS: test passed; the measurement met the set criteria. Detection criteria can be customized in the
setup menu, based on the specific screening or diagnostic needs.
REFER: test failed, no OAE response detected. The measurement did not meet the set criteria.
NOT COMPLETED: test stopped by the operator.
Otoacoustic emissions are represented by the green dots and noise by the yellow ones. When the
signal to noise ratio is higher than the predefined threshold the result is "good" and a green dot is
shown below the corresponding frequency; otherwise, the result is "not good" and the shown dot is
red. To obtain a "good" result, the signal level must exceed the threshold value defined in setup (-5, -
10 or -15dB SPL), otherwise it is not considered and the signal indicator turns gray.
Beside the graph histograms show signal and noise.
Progress, Noise and SNR indicators are updated in real time while the test is in progress. At the end of
the test the numerical result will be shown.
