e) Testing the weather station and the outdoor sensor
Test the weather station and the outdoor sensor before fixing the sensor in place. The devices should be positioned
at a distance of 1.7–3.3 m.
• Turn on the weather station and outdoor sensor as described in section 10 "Operation".
• Wait for approximately 15 minutes until all of the signals have been received from the individual sensors. Turn the
wind speed sensor (A) and pour some water into the rain funnel (F) to obtain readings from these sensors.

11. Configuring the settings

Press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button (1) at any time to return to the home screen.
The weather station will automatically revert to the home screen if no buttons are pressed for 30 seconds.
Hold down the WIND + (5) or PRESSURE - (4) buttons to move through the digits faster when configuring a setting.
a) Basic settings (time, date and units)
You only need to configure the date and time manually if the weather station is not connected to the Internet
via the WS TOOL app.
• Press and hold the SET button (8) for 2 seconds until "BEEP" appears on the display. "ON" or "OFF" will be
displayed to indicate the key tone/acoustic warning setting. Press the WIND + (5) or PRESSURE - (4) buttons to
turn key tones/acoustic warnings on or off. Confirm your selection with the SET button (8). The auto-delete setting
for the maximum and minimum measurements will be displayed ("RST"). "ON" or "OFF" will be displayed to indicate
the current setting.
• Press the WIND + (5) or PRESSURE - (4) buttons to turn automatic daylight saving time on or off
("ON" = automatically switches to daylight saving time). Confirm your selection with the SET button (8). The time
zone setting will be displayed ("ZON"). The current time zone setting is indicated by the "+" or "-" symbol.
• Press the WIND + (5) or PRESSURE - (4) buttons to change the time zone. Confirm your selection with the SET
button (8). The time format will be displayed.
• Press the WIND + (5) or PRESSURE - (4) buttons to change the setting. You can choose from 12 or 24-hour format
("12H" or "24H" will flash on the LCD). Confirm your selection with the SET button. The hour value for the time will
start to flash.
• Press the WIND + or PRESSURE - buttons to change the setting. Confirm your selection with the SET button.
The minute value for the time will start to flash and "MIN" will be displayed.
• Press the WIND + or PRESSURE - buttons to change the setting. Confirm your selection with the SET button.
The second value will be automatically reset to zero. The date format will start to flash
• Press the WIND + or PRESSURE - buttons to change the setting. You can choose from day/month (D/M) or month/
day (M/D). Confirm your selection with the SET button. The year value will start to flash and "Y" will be displayed.
• Press the WIND + or PRESSURE - buttons to change the year. Confirm your selection with the SET button.
The month value will start to flash.
