b) Outdoor sensor
The outdoor sensor consists of several sensors. It can be attached to pipe ends or other similar objects using the mast
mounting bracket (H). To ensure optimal reception, the outdoor sensor should not be placed next to other electronic
devices, cables or metal objects. Do not mount the outdoor sensor on its side. Always ensure that it is attached to the
surface (e.g. pipe end) properly.
The wind vane, wind speed sensor and the rain funnel must be attached to the outdoor sensor before first use.
The wireless transmitter is built into the outdoor sensor. This all-in-one design ensures an easy setup and allows all of
the sensors to be powered by two AA batteries.
