10. Operation

a) Manual Search for the Outdoor Sensors
After inserting the batteries in the basis station and setting the current weather, the basis station will scan for the radio
signals of the wind sensor and thermo/hygro sensor(s) for 3 minutes. The reception symbol "

If you want to restart the sensor scan (e.g. after battery change or if you have inserted batteries in the basis station
first and the outdoor sensor afterwards), proceed as follows:
• Hold down the "IN/CH" (3) button for 3 - 4 seconds until the reception symbol "

• Pushing the "TX" (26) button in the battery compartment of the thermo/hygro sensor or the small triangular button
on the inside of the wind sensor will cause the respective sensor to send out a data package; this will accelerated
and simplify recognition of the radio signals by the basis station.
• After 3 minutes, the sensor scan is terminated automatically.
Do not push any button on the basis station during the scan.
If you have any reception problems, reduce the distance between the basis station and the sensors if
required, or pick a different site of setup.
b) Set the time, date, 12h-/24h-mode, language for the weekday and units for
the wind speed
The basis station must not be in sensor scan mode (see chapter 10. a) or any other setting function.
• Hold down the "MODE" (5) button for 2 seconds until a sound signal is issued and the hours flash.
• Set the hours with the "+/°C/°F" (6) or "-" (7) button. Keep the respective button pushed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; the minutes will flash.
• Set the minutes with the "+/°C/°F" (6) or "-" (7) button. Keep the respective button pushed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; the year will flash.
• Set the year with the "+/°C/°F" (6) or "-" (7) button. Keep the respective button pushed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; "M D" or "D M" will flash in the lower area of the display.
• Use the "+/°C/°F" (6) or "-" (7) button to set the order of month and day in the display ("M D" = order month/day,
"D M" = order day/month).
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; the month will flash.
• Set the month with the "+/°C/°F" (6) or "-" (7) button. Keep the respective button pushed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the "MODE" (5) button; the day will flash.
• Set the day with the "+/°C/°F" (6) or "-" (7) button. Keep the respective button pushed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the "MODE" button (5); the display mode "24H" or "12H" will flash on the display.
