15. Operation

a) Settings
• In normal display mode, keep the button MODE (7) depressed for approx. 3 seconds. The first parameter flashes.
• Press the button UP (10) or DOWN (6), to change the value. Keep the button pressed for fast adjustment.
• Press the button MODE, to confirm the setting and switch to the next parameter.
• If you do not press any button within 8 seconds, the system will save the value set last and then returns to normal
display mode.
• You can set the following parameters:
Time zone (-12 to +12) → clock time (hours) → clock time (minutes) → year → month → day → language
The following languages are available:
GER German
ENG English
DAN
Danish
SPA
Spanish
DUT Dutch
ITA Italian
FRE
French
b) Temperature unit
When in normal display mode, briefly press the UP button (10) to switch between the temperature units °C (Celsius)
and °F (Fahrenheit).
c) Air pressure unit (only for EFWS S550)
When in normal display mode, press the UP button (10) for approx. 3 seconds to switch between HPA (hectopascal)
and inHg (inches of mercury).
d) 12/24-hour display
• When in normal display mode, briefly press the DOWN button (6) to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
• When selecting the 12-hour format, PM will appear in the display from noon 12 o'clock till evening 23:59 o'clock.
