The range can sometimes be reduced considerably by:
• Walls, reinforced concrete ceilings, drywalls with metal support constructions
• Coated/metalized insulating glass panes
• Proximity to metallic & conducting objects (e.g. heating radiators)
• Close proximity to human bodies
• Other devices on the same frequency (e.g. wireless headphones, wireless loudspeakers)
• Proximity to electric motors/devices, transformers, power adapters, computers.

21. Cleaning and care

• The product is maintenance-free apart from occasionally replacing the battery. Have maintenance and repairs done
by qualified experts or repair shops only. The product does not contain any components that need to be serviced
by you, therefore never open it (apart from the procedures described in these operating instructions for inserting/
replacing the batteries).
• A dry, soft and clean cloth is adequate for cleaning the weather station. Do not apply too much pressure to the
display to prevent scratches, malfunction or destruction of the display.
• Use a longhaired, soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner to easily remove dust.
• The outdoor sensor can be wiped with a cloth moistened with clean water.
Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions
since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
