The basis station performs several reception attempts for the DCF signal every
day, see chapter 10. Therefore, let the basis station rest for a day; maybe
reception will be interference-free at other times.
A single successful reception per day will keep the deviation of the clock in the

15. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The product is maintenance-free for you. Servicing or repair must only be carried
out by a specialist or specialist workshop. There are no parts that require
maintenance by you inside the product. Therefore, never open it (except for the
procedure described in these operating instructions for inserting or replacing the
batteries).
To clean the exterior of the basis station or the outdoor sensors, a dry, soft and
clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not apply too much pressure to the display of the basis station, this can
cause scratch marks or failures of the display.
Remove dust on the basis station with a long-haired, soft and clean brush and a
vacuum cleaner.
To remove stronger contamination at the outdoor sensors, use a soft cloth slightly
moistened with lukewarm water.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions, since these may damage the casing (discolouration) or even impair
function.
