15. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The product is maintenance-free. Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a
specialist/specialist workshop. There are no components on the inside of the product
that require maintenance by you. Therefore, you should never open it (apart from
the procedure for replacing the batteries as described in these instructions).
To clean the exterior of the weather station or the outdoor sensor, a dry, soft and
clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not press too hard on the weather station display, as this may cause
scratch marks or lead to faulty displays.
Dust on the weather station can be easily removed with the help of a long-haired,
soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Use a slightly damp soft cloth to remove stronger contamination from the outdoor
sensor.
Never use any aggressive cleansing agents or other chemical solvents since
this may damage the surface of the casing or even impair operation.
