Once set, the communication channel can only be changed by removing the
batteries or with a reset.
b) DCF reception
The additional sensor receives the DCF time signal and sends it to the weather station. Ensure
there is an unobstructed wireless connection between the two.
• Press the RCC button (2) once to initiate the search for the DCF time signal manually.
Synchronisation with the DCF time is executed automatically by the
sensor every day at 2 am and 5 pm. This is sufficient to keep the time
accurate to within one second per day.
The DCF radio time signal is sent from a transmitter in Mainflingen
(near Frankfurt am Main, Germany). It has a range of up to
1500 km, increasing to 2000 km in ideal reception conditions. The
DCF signal contains information such as the exact time and date
(with a theoretical time deviation of one second every million years).
There is no need to set the summer and winter time manually on the
connected weather station.
The DCF functions on item no. 1615871 are outlined in full in its operating
instructions. The weather station with item no. 1760613 receives the DCF signal
itself.
c) Restoring the default settings
• Press the RESET button once to restore the additional sensor to the default settings following
a malfunction.
