12. REPLACING THE BATTERIES

a) Weather Station
The batteries must be replaced when the display contrast is very weak or the display
almost disappears when the display lighting is activated.
Replace the batteries with a new set according to chapter 9. b).
b) Outdoor Sensor
When the batteries in the outdoor sensor are wear, the icon "
right of the outdoor temperature display; if the batteries are empty, only dashes
are displayed instead of the outdoor temperature.
When changing the batteries, proceed as described in chapter 9. a).
If the weather station no longer finds the outdoor sensor, briefly press the
button "RESET" (15) on the rear of the weather station.
Then the weather station will search for the outdoor sensors for about 5
minutes and then scan for the DCF signal.
