c) Setup/Assembly

The basis station can be put on the wall using an opening in the rear and an nail,
screw or hook.
A folding setup base can be used to set up the basis station on a level, stable
surface. Protect valuable furniture surfaces from scratches with suitable pads.
Select the site of setup so that it is not exposed to direct sunlight (wrong
measured values for temperature). Also maintain sufficient distance to
radiators.
Also observe the chapter "16. Range" for setting up the outdoor sensor and
basis station.

The bracket (18) included with each outdoor sensor can be used for wall/ceiling
mounting. It can be pushed on at the top, bottom and on the rear of the outdoor
sensor, depending on desired assembly site.
The 3 outdoor sensors are suitable for operation in protected outdoor areas.
They should be placed so that they are not subject to direct solar irradiation
or rain/snow, because measured values may otherwise be incorrect.
When installing the 3 outdoor sensors outdoors, ensure that they are installed
upright so that the battery compartments point down so that no water may
enter.
Never immerse or submerge the outdoor sensors in water; they would be
destroyed!
