177. Thread the strut end on the threaded stud of the wing strut.
Make sure to use the correct struts on the correct side of the
aircraft.
178. When fi tting the strut, make sure the front and rear struts are
in the correct location. When correct, the angles between the
struts will be aligned.
179. When not oriented correctly, the struts do not fi t together
correctly and the angles will be incorrect.
180. Attach the struts to the bottom of the fuselage using two M4 x
15 socket head cap screws. Position the struts so the screws
are centered in the slots.
181. Adjust the position of the strut end so an M4 x 20 socket
head cap screw passes easily through the fi tting and strut.
Secure the strut using the cap screw and an M4 lock nut.

182. Attach the jury strut to the jury strut mount using the pin and
clip.
183. Place an M3 washer on a 3 x 15 socket head cap screw. Slide
the screw though the jury strut and jury strut fi tting on the
main wing strut.
184. Position the jury strut fi tting on the wing strut so the jury strut
is square to the wing. Tighten the fi tting on the wing strut.
Remove the screw and thread the jury strut fi ttings on the
wing so the screw will easily pass through the jury strut and
the jury strut fi tting.
185. Slide the jury strut brace on the screw. Use an M3 washer
and M3 lock nut to secure the struts in place.
186. Install the remaining jury strut. Make sure it is square to the
wing before fully installing and tightening the hardware.
