• Technical features of the heat exchanger:
- Max pressure of the hot or cold water for water fancoil:
- 1600 kPa - with valves: 1000 kPa
- Min pressure of the hot or cold fluid: It is the one indicated by the designer/
installer for the correct functioning of the system

- Hardness of water into the heat exchanger: It is the one indicated by the de-
signer/installer for the correct functioning of the system
- Max pressure of the refrigerant fluid for units with direct expansion coil: 2400 kPa
• Technical features of the fan motor:
- With each EST fancoil unit there is the possibility to have different air volumes, ac-
cording to the use requirements. The relevant nominal air capacities are indicated
on Enclosure 3 of this manual and they are referred to standard fancoil units, with
clean filters, at the temperature of 20 °C, at sea level and without external static
pressure
- EST technology is composed by a brushless motor combined to a dedicated
electronic device (inverter), managed by specific regulators. The controller uses
a modulating signal with 0-10Vdc tension in order to regulate the fan speed

5. TRANSPORT AND WAREHOUSE STORAGE

All EST fancoils with casing are wrapped in a plastic bag to protect the unit from dust and
scratches; they are then packed in a cardboard box to allow an easy and safe manoeuvrability
and to minimise risks due to incorrect handling. Fancoil units without casing are directly packed
in a carton box. On the carton box, symbols are printed showing how to stock the goods
correctly. A label on it provides complete information on its contents.
If fancoils are stored in the warehouse, do not exceed the following stacking limitations:

Even though the units have been properly protected to withstand adverse conditions, we
recommend that they are kept under the following ambient conditions if stored in the
warehouse for long periods of time: Temperature: min. –5 °C, max. 50 °C; Relative humidity:
less than 80%.
When receiving the goods, please open the shipping carton, to make sure that all
components are present and in good condition. Any damage must be immediately
communicated to the shipping agent, and our service department must be notified
immediately if any material is missing.
