A large number of the components will have to be remo-
ved from the fi replace in order to carry out maintenance
properly. This should be done very carefully so as to avoid
damaging the electrical and mechanical components and the
visible parts of the fi replace.

10.2 Dismantling the appliance for service purposes

The component numbers contained in the description of
this appliance are explained in the Annex along with an
image of the specifi ed article.
Remove the inlet profi le (1), the decorative strips (2 and
3) and the glass sheet (4) (see Section 7);
Remove the wood (fi gure H) or pebble set (fi gure I)
from the heating bed (fi gure H and I);
Remove the locking strip for the effect glass sheet (7) by
removing 5 parkers (situation C);
Unscrew the left support effect glass sheet (8) by
removing 3 parkers (situation D);
Unscrew the right support effect glass sheet (9) by
removing 2 parkers (situation E);
With one hand, push up the toplight plate (10) slightly
and with the other hand, push in the left support effect
glass sheet (8), at the left of the cabinet (situation F);
Do the same for the right support effect glass sheet (9);
The effect glass sheet (11) can be tilted back to some
extent;

There will now be suffi cient space to lower the toplight
plate (10) and to disconnect the 3 cables by pulling out
the plugs. Ensure that you fully unlock the lock on these
plugs (push them in fully) so that the PCB track of the
PCBs are not removed! (situation G);
When the plugs are unplugged, the entire toplight plate
(10) may be removed carefully;
Hold the effect glass sheet (11) with both hands on the
side and raise it until the bottom edge rests on the
heating bed (fi gure H and I) (situation H);
Attention: the effect glass sheet is coated; dirt on this
glass sheet may irreparably damage it!
