2.7 Information on charging the battery

On delivery and prior to use of the Suprasorb
recommended to fully charge the battery and recharge after the first few uses.
This allows achievement of the maximum number of approximately 300 charging cycles.
Suprasorb CNP P3 is equipped with a lithium ion battery, which, unlike standard rechargeable
®
batteries, only exhibits a very low, temperature-dependent self-discharge of 3-10% per month.
The Suprasorb CNP P3 should be stored and charged taking the ambient conditions specified
®
in the technical data into account, ideally at room temperature.
The Suprasorb CNP P3 including battery must never be stored uncharged!

Lithium ion batteries do not have a memory effect. They can and thus should be recharged at
any time following a successful initial charge (see above).
However, avoid charging the battery frequently for short periods of time.
Even though the Suprasorb
deep discharging, the charging information above should still be taken into consideration.
The battery is also protected against overheating during charging. Should the battery temperature
be exceeded during charging due to ambient conditions other than intended, charging will be
temporarily interrupted to allow cooling. This is a safety precaution to protect the battery.

2.8 Pressure settings

The pressure settings range between -20 and -200 mmHg (in 5 mmHg intervals).
Our recommendations:
(a) Negative pressure setting in Continuous mode:
-60 to -80 mmHg
(b) Negative pressure setting in Intermittent mode:
Max: -60 to -80 mmHg at a 2-5 minute interval
Min: -40 to -60 mmHg at a 2-5 minute interval
