5. Required Accessories

Operation of the vehicle requires various accessories that are not part of the delivery.
Components that are absolutely necessary:
• Rechargeable batteries or batteries for the transmitter (for type and required number, see operating instructions for
the remote control system)
• Two LiPo drive batteries of the same build with 2 cells (nominal voltage 7.4 V) or 3 cells (nominal voltage 11.1 V);
each with XT90-connection
• Suitable charger for transmitter batteries or drive batteries
For beginners, we recommend two 2-cell LiPo drive batteries, since the lower voltage also means a lower
speed and the vehicle can be steered much more easily.
If you already have enough experience with fast model vehicles, you may use the full speed of the vehicle
with two 3-cell LiPo drive batteries.
Only use a charger with balancer for charging the LiPo drive batteries.
The speed controller can also handle NiMH rechargeable batteries (8 - 18 cells), but these are usually
unable to supply the required high currents. Therefore, use only LiPo rechargeable batteries.
For an optimal use of the vehicle, we recommend you the following components:
• Spare tyres (to be able to quickly change run-down/damaged tyres)
• Assembly stand (for test runs and easier maintenance)
• Various tools (e.g. screwdriver, long-nose pliers, hexagon spanner, socket wrench)
• Compressed air spray (for cleaning purposes)
• Threadlocker varnish (to fasten loosened screw connections again)
• Transport bag
