11. Transport and storage

The guard trac™ WP or guard trac™ WPS
guardrail covered by this manual must be stored
and transported in its original package. During
storage and transport, this guard trac™ WP or
guard trac™ WPS guardrail must be:
1. Store in dry place.
2. Store at a temperature between -30 °C and
+50 °C.
3. Protected against chemical, mechanical and
any other environmental contamination.
12. Disposal and environmental
protection
The scrapping of the guard trac™ WP or guard
trac™ WPS guardrail must be carried out in ac-
cordance with the legislation of the country.
The guard trac™ WP or guard trac™ WPS
guardrail must be treated as shown in the table
below:

13. Markings

Six markings are present on guard trac™ WP
and guard trac™ WPS guardrails:
1. The marking of long and short brackets.

2. The marking of the wedge and the anti-slip
pad.

3. Marking of barriers and adjustable barriers.

4. The marking of the counterweight.

6. The identification plate of the installation.

13.1. Marking of the bracket

The markings of the brackets (fig. 17) indicate:
rep. 1: a pictogram indicating that the manual
must be read before installation and use,
rep. 3: the product description: guard trac™
rep. 4: AA: last two digits of the year of manufac-
ture / MM: month of manufacture
rep. 5: manufacturing logo of the part
rep. 6: the trademark: Tractel®,
rep. 7: Tractel® reference
equipped with anti-slip pad, wedge and
wedge spring. The reference of the fully
equipped long bracket is 217447, and that
of the short bracket is 272501
rep. 8: the reference standards: EN13374-A and
ISO14122-3
13.2. Marking of wedge and non-slip
pad
The marking is as follows:
a: trademark: Tractel®,
f: the manufacturing date
13.3. Marking of barriers and adjustable
barriers
The glued label indicates the following marking:
a: the trademark: Tractel®,
b: the designation of the product,
c: the reference standards EN13374-A,
d: the product reference
