pump/motor rating plate.
Electrical data (power and current consumption), dimensions and
weights are given in the catalogue. The pumps are intended for use
in TN or TT systems. Their use in IT systems (unearthed systems)
may be authorised after consultation with the manufacturer.
Flow media:
If water/glycol mixtures with a ratio of 10% or more glycol (or flow
media with a viscosity other than that of pure water) are used, the
increased power consumption of the pump is to be taken into
account. Only brand products with anti-corrosion inhibitors should
be used. The manufacturer's instructions must be strictly adhered
to.
The flow medium must be free of sediment.

Description of product and accessories

6.1 Pump and motor

All the pumps described here are single-stage low-pressure circu-
lation pumps in a compact design with coupled motor. The pumps
can be assembled directly as inline pumps in a well-fastened pipe-
line or placed on a foundation base.
IP-E: The pump housing is of an INLINE design, i.e. the suction

and discharge flanges are on a common centre line. All pump
housings are provided with pump feet. It is recommended that
the pump be installed on a foundation base.
DP-E: Two pumps are arranged in the same housing (double
x
pump). The pump housing is of an INLINE design. All pump hou-
sings are provided with pump feet. It is recommended that the
pump be installed on a foundation base.
An electronic module attached to the motor housing regulates the
speed of the pump to a nominal value within a permissible range of
values. Depending on the control system involved, the differential
pressure is subject to different criteria. Regardless of the control
system involved, the pump continually adapts itself to the varying
power requirements of the units, especially when being used in
conjunction with thermostatic valves or mixers.
