Changing the panic side
The panic side of the lock must be adjusted before installation. The panic side of
the lock must be adjusted such that the door can be opened in the escape
direction (normally outward from inside) with the door handle, regardless of the
locking status of the lock.
Warning!
An incorrectly adjusted panic side can result in life-threatening danger and
risk of injury: After installing the lock, check whether the locked door can be
opened in the escape direction.
