Opening the door – in the escape direction (from inside)
A latch is not provided with this type of lock. When the door handle is operated,
the bolt is retracted such that the escape door can always be opened from inside.
1. Operate the door handle.
 The lock was unlocked and the door can be opened.
Opening the door – against the escape direction (from outside)
A locked door cannot be opened from outside without a key. The key must be
used to open the door.
1. Unlock the lock with the

Locking the door
1. Close the door.
2. Lock the door from inside or outside by turning the key a full rotation (single
turn locking)
 The lock has been locked. Then the door can only be opened from the outside
with a key.
