Settings and adjustments

The Match has numerous setting and adjustment
options so the chair can be completely adjusted to
the user's preferences. Life & Mobility recommends
you consult your dealer for the settings. You can make
the adjustments easily yourself, without tools.
SEAT FRAME
Moulded seat assembly
With this Match chassis, Life & Mobility - in collaboration
with selected moulded seat suppliers - has made a CE-
certified and crash test safe combination of a chassis
and moulded seat possible, for the first time in history.
Together with these selected vendors, we bear the
responsibility for and guarantee crash test safe product
combinations. This has been laid down in an agreement.
Only a Match - moulded seat combination which complies
with the agreement is CE-certified and crash test safe.
For Match - moulded seat combinations without an
agreement, Life & Mobility passes the responsibility
for the product combination to the offering party. The
product combination will not have a CE and crash
test safe marking on it. In this case, take note of the
following:
Attention:
1. A moulded seat must be mounted to the Match
on the underside and back:
• Mount the bottom plate of the moulded seat
by placing four M8 bolts in the holes intended
for this purpose in the Match mounting plate.
• Attach the back section of the moulded seat
to the Match's back tubing in four places
using the mounting strips provided.
2. When attaching a moulded seat or upholstered
parts, always use a bolted joint, never a
threaded joint.

3. Only use original Life & Mobility parts
for leg, arm and head supports.
4. Never make machined modifications
to Match wheelchairs, such as drilling,
sawing or bending.
5. Always mount accessories using Life &
Mobility mounting attachments (T-slot
mount blocks) in the back tubing.
The Life & Mobility moulded seat assembly
systems are specifically developed for various,
selected moulded seats. Use the correct
assembly system / the assembly system
included in the delivery for the moulded seat
you are going to use in combination with the
Match chassis.
The assembly system consists of an moulded
seat-specific hole pattern in the assembly
plate (A) and an moulded seat-specific
assembly system (B) on the back support
tube(C).

The hole pattern intended for assembly of
your moulded seat is marked with purple
stickers.
Tip:
• Use the balance point settings
for optimum accessibility of the
assembly holes (see page 22).
Seat width
The seat width can be adjusted seamlessly
for seat widths between 42 and 60 cm* by
sliding the armrest elbow in or out.
