Safety instructions
Transporting the wheelchair (See also p. 35).
Warning:
In conformance with the covenant, the
Match chassis was declared crash test safe
in combination with specific moulded seats
(ISO 717619:2008) and received CE mark.
In untested Match combinations, the chassis
does not bear the CE mark, this wheelchair's
performance has not been declared crash
test safe.
Attach the chair in a taxi van using a 4 point
securing system. Also use a 3point safety belt
to transport the wheelchair with the occupant.
The posture belt is not suitable to serve as a
safety belt.
When transporting the wheelchair with the
occupant, the wheelchair must be fitted with
a headrest.
Tilt the frame a maximum of 5degrees in a
taxi van. This tilting angle does not apply to
the moulded seat.
Slopes and other obstacles (See also p. 32).
Warning:
Never drive on a slope at an angle exceeding 5
degrees.
Do not drive on slopes if the wheelchair is
tilted.
When driving up a slope, the centre of gravity
will shift and the wheelchair can tip backwards
more easily.
When driving down a slope, the centre of
gravity will shift and the occupant can tip
forward.
Do not turn around on a steep slope. If the
wheelchair is crosswise on a steep slope, the
risk of tipping is significant.

Safety instructions
Always go down on steps backwards so the
wheelchair cannot tip forward and to prevent
the user from falling out of the chair.
Assistants must never leave the wheelchair on
a slope without applying the brakes.
When moving the wheelchair by yourself, only
use your hands on the handrims to brake and
do not use the tyre brake. Otherwise, you risk
losing control of the wheelchair.
Attention:
When going down a slope, always keep your
speed under control.
The assistant must brake the wheelchair using
the push bars.
Miscellaneous
Warning:
Do not leave the wheelchair in direct sunlight:
the upholstery may get too hot, which can
burn the skin or make it hypersensitive.
Be careful:
Do not allow the wheelchair to come in
contact with seawater as seawater is corrosive
and will rust the wheelchair.
Do not allow the wheelchair to come in
contact with sand, as it may penetrate into
the moving parts of the wheelchair, causing
unnecessarily fast wear and tear.
Never use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
products or solvents such as thinner, benzene,
etc., to clean the wheelchair.
Tightening the adjustment screw too far can
damage the wheelchair.
