WARNING
■ To reduce the risk of personal injury from thrown objects and contact with the cutting attachment,
never operate the trimmer / brushcutter without the proper deflector and harness,
that the deflector and handlebar are properly mounted and adjusted at all times while working.
WARNING
■ To reduce the risk of injury from loss of control and contact with the cutting attachment, make sure
your unit is equipped with the proper deflector and harness.
WARNING
■ The operator must be able to remove the harness quickly in the event of an emergency. To reduce
the risk of injury in an emergency:
► Practice removing and putting down the
power tool as you would in an emergency.
To avoid damage, do not throw the power
tool to the ground when practicing.
► Use only one of the allowed harness
options. Do not combine different har‐
nesses or other harness combinations
when using your power tool.

Parts
STIHL recommends the use of genuine STIHL
replacement parts. Genuine STIHL parts can be
identified by the STIHL part number, the
logo and, in some cases, by the STIHL parts
symbol
. The symbol may appear alone on
small parts.
25 Disposal
25.1
Disposal of the Power Tool
STIHL products must not be thrown in household
trash or disposed of except as outlined in this
manual.
► Take the power tool, accessories and packag‐
ing to an approved disposal site for environ‐
mentally friendly recycling.
