4.1 Trimmer / Brushcutter
The following safety symbols are found on the
trimmer / brushcutter:
To reduce the risk of injury, follow the
specified safety precautions.
Read and follow all safety precautions
in the instruction manual. Improper use
can lead to serious or fatal personal
injury or property damage.
To reduce the risk of eye injury and
hearing loss, always wear proper eye
protection and hearing protection.
Wear an approved protective helmet
when there is a risk of head injury,

When working with a metal cutting
attachment, wear steel-toed safety
boots, 5.4.
Always wear non-slip, heavy-duty work
gloves (e.g. made of leather or other
wear resistant material) when handling
the machine or metal cutting attach‐

Kickout (blade thrust) may cause loss
of control of the power tool resulting in
serious or fatal injury to the operator or
bystanders. To reduce the risk of injury,
use extreme caution when using a rigid
