SECTION II: DESCRIPTION
This section describes the technical and functional cha-
racteristics.
FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
The centrifuge is a robust product. Its exterior frame and
its centrifugation chamber are made of enamelled steel.
The inner parts are zinc-coated or are made of aluminium.
The fasteners are stainless steel. This makes them highly
resistant to corrosion and facilitates their cleaning.
The anodised rotor and tube holder offer a high resistan-
ce to corrosion and scratching, in addition to facilitating
its cleaning. Their design makes it possible to achieve sui-
table speeds, maintaining its safety.
Using the centrifuge correctly, none of the materials that
comprise the centrifuge will reach extremes of fatigue.
Equipped with a display and a touchpad to control the fo-
llowing parameters:

- start and emergency stop
- impossible start up the rotor with the cover open or not
properly closed
- impossible open the cover if the rotor not is fully
stopped
- automatic stop of the rotor in the event of excessive im
balance of the load, with acoustic warning
- automatic stop of the rotor in the event of emergency
opening, with acoustic warning
- energy saving system in which after 5 minutes without
use, the screen turns off
- warning of unbalanced rotor
- warning of motor fault
The display, the touchpad and the acoustic warning indi-
cate the operational process it is in at all times.
The rotation speed is limited to 1902 rpm.
