As soon as one of the preset parameters has
counted down to zero, you will hear an acoustic
signal and the workout programme stops automa-
tically. If you have preset further parameters, you
can continue the programme after pressing the
START/STOP button.
During the workout, you can increase or decrease the inten-
sity levels with the UP/DOWN buttons. You can interrupt
your workout by pressing the START/STOP button. Press the
START/STOP button again to continue your workout. If you
wish to stop your workout completely, press the EINGABE
button for 3 seconds. This will bring you back to the pro-
gramme selection.
D Pulse programmes (P18–P22)
The intensity level for the Pulse programme is specifi ed
by the computer and is adapted automatically according
to current pulse and set heart rate or programme. The
intensity levels will also increase or decrease during your
workout in dependence on your pulse.
P18 = 55% target pulse = 55 % of (220 –Age)
P19 = 65% target pulse = 65 % of (220 –Age)
P20 = 75% target pulse = 75 % of (220 –Age)
P21 = 85% target pulse = 85 % of (220 –Age)
P22 = TARGET
WARNING
Make sure you always work out with the target pulse
specifi cation suitable for you. Observe the notes and
the exercise parameters chapter.
1. Select one of the Pulse programmes (P18-P22) by using
the UP/DOWN buttons and confi rm with the EINGABE
button.
2. Set your age using the UP/DOWN buttons and confi rm
with the EINGABE button.
3. If you wish to specify one or several workout para meters,
use the EINGABE button to select the required
parameter(s). You set the values with the UP/DOWN but-
tons and confi rm with the EINGABE button.

4. Finally, press the START/STOP button to begin the work-
out. This is also possible if you have not selected a wor-
kout parameter before.

You may use the chest strap as an alternative to
the hand sensors. Make sure you position the
strap close to your heart and that the strap has
good skin contact.
E Watt programme (P23)
In this programme, the computer automatically selects
the intensity resistance in dependence on the speed and
the selected watt value.
1. Select the Watt programme (P23) with the UP/DOWN but-
tons and confi rm with the EINGABE button.
2. If you want to specify the workout parameter TIME or
DISTANCE, select the required parameter with the EIN-
GABE button. Set the values with the UP/DOWN button
and confi rm with the EINGABE button in each case.
3. Now set the required watt value by pressing the UP/
DOWN buttons and confi rm with the EINGABE button.
4. If you want to specify the workout parameter CAL or
PULSE, select the required parameter with the EINGABE
button. Set the values with the UP/DOWN button and
confi rm with the EINGABE button in each case.
5. Finally, press the START/STOP button to begin the work-
out. This is also possible if you haven`t selected a work-
out parameter before.
