MAINTENANCE AND CARE
TREADMILL LUBRICATION GUIDE
Proper lubrication of your treadmill's running belt not only ensures smooth operation but also
extends its lifespan. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you lubricate your treadmill effectively:
1. Recommended Lubricant
For optimal results and to maintain peak treadmill performance, it's recommended to use the Ascend
Lubricant Kit. This kit is specially formulated for your treadmill and ensures longevity and smooth
operation.
2.
Initial Lubrication
Upon receiving your treadmill, add lubricant to each oil cap. This sets the foundation for optimal
performance.
3. Regular Lubrication Schedule
First Maintenance: After the initial 20 hours of use or within 1 month, whichever comes first.
Subsequent Maintenance: Every 20 hours of use or between 1-2 months, depending on frequency of
use.
4. Even Distribution
After applying the lubricant, run the treadmill at a low speed (2-3 km/h) for 3-5 minutes. This helps
spread the lubricant uniformly across the belt.
5. Checking the Belt for Adequate Lubrication
Open the lubrication system cap.
Squeeze a few drops of lubricant inside.
Feel the surface under the belt, on both sides
Slick Surface: If it feels slick, your treadmill is well-lubricated, and no further action is needed.
Dry Surface: If it feels dry, add a few more drops of lubricant and run on the treadmill at low speed
(2-3 Km/h). Repeat the process until you get satisfying results.
6. Caution
Avoid over-lubricating the running deck. Excess lubricant can cause slippage and other issues.
Regular maintenance, including timely lubrication, ensures your treadmill operates efficiently
and lasts longer. Always refer to the lubrication guide before maintenance.
