g) Displaying the minimum/maximum values
• The weather station saves the minimum/maximum temperature and humidity readings for each 24-
hour day.
• The minimum/maximum temperature and humidity readings from the last 24 hours are shown on the
LCD display. The minimum readings are shown in blue, and the maximum readings are shown in red.
• If you have enabled the auto-delete setting, the readings will be deleted automatically at 0:00 each
day. For more information, see "Basic settings (time, date and units)".
• To delete the readings manually, press and hold the TEMP./+ button for 2 seconds. All display
symbols will appear and you will hear a short beep to indicate that the readings have been deleted.
h) Viewing the temperature, humidity and pressure trend
• The trend arrows are refreshed every 30 minutes. The weather station uses readings from the last
3 hours to calculate the trend.
i) Measured values outside of the measurement range
• "--" will be displayed when the measured values are not within the measurement range.
j) Phases of the moon
• The phases of the moon are calculated based on the date. The LCD shows the natural phases of
the moon and its appearance. The phases of the moon for the northern and southern hemispheres
are different.
• Ensure that you have selected the correct hemisphere (see "Basic settings (time, date and units)").
k) Calibration
You can calibrate the weather station if the temperature, humidity or pressure readings are not
consistent with a calibrated reference device (e.g. a liquid glass thermometer). Example: The liquid
glass thermometer shows a temperature of 22.3 °C, but the weather station shows 23 °C. The
calibration setting should be -0.7 °C. The same principle applies for the humidity and pressure readings.
To obtain reference readings for the atmospheric pressure, refer to a local weather report
(up to 50 km from your location). The official pressure reading is normally adjusted to mean
sea level (i.e. relative pressure). If there is a large discrepancy, calibrate the pressure
reading.
