If necessary, guide the loose end of the wire rope over a pulley or another suitable rope guide to prevent the rope from running
over an edge that will result in the rope being damaged.

Clamp a tensioning weight on the suspension rope. Alternatively, attach the rope to the ground with the appropriate pretension.
It must be possible to untwist the wire rope.
Place the loose end of the wire rope down correctly to prevent any loops or knots from being created.
6.2.5 After completing the installation
Check that everything is ready and then run a functional check as described in the next paragraph.
6.3

Commissioning on-site

6.3.1 Determining operational readiness
Check the wire rope anchoring point.
Check the anchoring of the hoist, diverter pulleys, and load.
Check whether the wire rope enters the hoist vertically.
Check that the plugs on the motor are seated correctly.

6.3.2 Functional test

Risk of being injured by falling objects!
Never stand beneath suspended loads.
Cordon off the hazard zone whenever necessary.
Incorrect rope lengths!
Can result in damage to the device!
The wire rope end connection, the load bearing point or the wire rope end itself must never be pulled up to or into the product or
the accessory parts!
Use a wire rope with adequate length.
Whenever necessary, monitor the wire rope during operation.
