Performing a real test using your telephone dialler

SYSTEM WITH CONTROL PANEL
The noise of the siren may cause hearing problems and the necessary precautions must there-
!
fore be taken when carrying out tests.
You are now going to simulate an intrusion into your home. This real test will trigger the alerts and
deterrents (alarm sirens, control panel built-in siren, telephone dialler). We therefore recommend you:
let your neighbours know,
let your correspondents know and ask one of them or the remote monitoring centre to
stop the telephone dialler's test call cycle.
Take your remote control with you and go outside your home. If you only have a
keypad, stand near it outside the range of any motion detectors.
Switch the system to Fully Set mode.
The control panel immediately issues a first series of audible messages: "Lou, lou, lou, ..." or
issues the voice message
After 1 minute and 30 seconds, the control panel issues a second series of "Lou, lou, lou, ..."
type audible messages or successive BEEP's.
This time limit (exit time delay) gives you time to go outside your home after having armed the
intrusion protection devices without triggering any alerts or deterrents.
Your home is now being monitored.
Trigger a detector.
The alerts and deterrents (sirens, telephone dialler, etc.) are triggered:
immediately if the detector triggered is set for immediate triggering (zones 1 or 3),
immediately or after a time delay of 20 seconds depending on the control panel parameters if
the detector triggered is allocated to zone 2 or zone 4.
Let the sirens sound for about thirty seconds so that the alarm can be transmitted by telephone to
your friends and family.
Stop the sirens.
The dialler's test call cycle will be terminated when one of your correspondents or the remote
monitoring centre ends it, or when you send an OFF order using your remote control or keypad.

Call the correspondent whose telephone number has been saved to memory 1 to make sure they
received the dialler's call.
Fill in the instructions sheets and give them to your friends and family.
