Connecting your telephone dialler to a line without a broadband connection
You only have one telephone set
- Connect your telephone dialler directly to the wall socket using the multi-connector provided.
- Connect your answering machine and your telephone and insert their connector into the telephone
dialler's multi-socket.
You have several telephone sets
Connect your telephone dialler directly to the telephone socket of your telephone installation.
These operations can only be carried out by an installation technician who has been approved by
your telephone operator.
To do this:
Cut the telephone dialler cable close to the multi-socket.
Identify the two telephone line incoming wires on the telephone connector and disconnect them
(you will no longer hear a dial tone from any of your receivers).
Next connect these two incoming wires to two free inlets (example 11 and 12 on the drawing).
Take the telephone dialler's white and blue wires and connect them to inlets 11 and 12 (it does
not matter about polarity).
Connect the red and yellow wires to the inlet where the telephone incoming line was initially
(inlets 1 and 3 in the example below).
