    11.3 Performing a real test using your telephone dialler SYSTEM WITH CONTROL PANEL The noise of the siren may cause hearing problems and the necessary precautions must there- fore be taken when carrying out tests. You are now going to simulate an intrusion into your home. This real test will trigger the alerts and deterrents (alarm sirens, control panel built-in siren, telephone dialler).

This real test will trigger the telephone dialler. We therefore recommend you let your correspon- dents know and ask one of them or the remote monitoring centre to terminate the test call cycle.

    It can be activated 24 hours a day whatever your alarm system sta- tus (Armed or Disarmed). Press on your telephone dialler’s Emergency key for 2 seconds until the LED indicating there TT385 is a call in progress lights up. The call cycle Urgence (during which the dialler calls numbers saved to memory 1, 2 or 3) begins.

    CHANGING YOUR TELEPHONE DIALLER’S BATTERIES Your telephone dialler, like all DIAGRAL devices, has an average battery life of 2 years (applicable to the batteries supplied and normal conditions of use). The telephone dialler automatically checks the status of its batteries and those of the control panel. It indicates that they need to be changed about 1 month before they are completely flat.

Once the OFF order has been given, move the telephone dialler away from the wall within 3 seconds. If the telephone dialler is triggered, gently press the OFF key on your remote control for four seconds or ask the person next to the keypad to enter the OFF command.
