Once your aerials have been inserted, hold
them in place by pressing the aerial fastener
back down into its original position.
Slide the aerial guide along the two aerial
tubes and put an aerial cap on each aerial
end.
For horizontally positioned aerials there is no
need to use the aerial guide.

Checking the radio link

Hold your telephone dialler up to the chosen location point WITHOUT FLATTENING IT AGAINST THE
WALL (anti-tamper pin released).
The radio listen-in function can be used to determine the best location point for your tele-
phone dialler.
If there is not much crackling coming out of the telephone dialler's loudspeaker (identical to the
crackling heard during the preparation phase), the location point is suitable.
If there is a lot of crackling coming out of the telephone dialler's loudspeaker, move the dialler to a
place where it is not very loud.
Choose a hard smooth surface to put the telephone dialler on (choose a wall without
a wall carpet or large-sized pebble dashing) so that the anti-tamper pin is flat against the
wall when the telephone dialler is fixed in place. Leave enough room for the aerial.
