Prior to first use

Before you use the device, you must
unpack the device and check it for damages incurred in transit,
clean the device and the accessories,
assemble the device.

Unpacking the device

❐ Danger of suffocation by the wrapper and bags. Keep children
away from the packaging.
Unpack the device and the accessories. Ensure that all product contents are present (see
section "Product Contents & Device Overview") and check for any damages from transport.
Should you identify any transport damages, please promptly consult the customer service (see
section "Customer service").

Cleaning the device before first use

❐ Health hazard due to contamination! Clean the device parts
thoroughly. Device parts may still exhibit residue from produc-
tion.
❐ Damage to property due to improper handling of the device! The
cover, the cover holder and the support are not suitable for being
cleaned in the dishwasher.
Clean the support, cover holder, glass cooking bowl, and the accessories with warm water
and a mild detergent.
Wipe the glass border of the cover off with a wet cloth.
Allow all parts of the device to dry completely.

Assembling the device

1. Place the support on a solid, level, and heat-resistant surface.
2. Place the glass cooking bowl in the support.
3. Insert a grill (if necessary, using the tongs) in the glass cooking bowl.
4. Carefully place the cover on the glass cooking bowl.

Start-up

Before you use the product, ensure that
the mains cord is not able to come into contact with hot surfaces or objects;
the device has been securely and safely situated on a fireproof base;
the glass cooking bowl has been properly placed in the support;
a grill has been inserted;
you only use fireproof cookware.
