❐ In order to avoid electrical shocks, never use the device in the vicinity of water.
❐ Before start-up, place the device on a smooth, level surface.
❐ Place the device as close as possible to a socket so that you can quickly and con-
veniently pull the plug.
❐ Please do not place any food or packaging on the top cover while operating the
device.
❐ The device must be operated with the voltage specified on the product plate. If you
are not sure about the type of power/voltage supply available, ask your vendor or
the public power utility.
❐ Do not attempt to repair the device yourself as you are exposed to parts carrying
a current or other risks when you open and remove covers.
❐ Only have repairs performed by a qualified workshop.
❐ Not a toy! Please keep the device away from children; use and store it out of the
reach of children.
❐ Only use the device for the purpose, which it is conceived for.
❐ Do not start it when it is empty and unattended.
❐ Always keep the cover closed when the device is operating.
❐ Only use the accessories provided by the manufacturer.
❐ Do not in any case touch the accessories (cover) while the device is operating or
directly after having deactivated it.
❐ ATTENTION! Danger of scalding! During operation, the unit produces
heat. Condensation may form on the glass cover.
❐ We ask that if you lend the device to third parties, please include the operating
instructions.

❐ This device should never be setup and used in the vicinity of highly flammable mate-
rials (curtains, textiles etc.).
❐ ATTENTION! Hot surfaces! The device becomes very hot during opera-
tion. Following deactivation, the device will stay hot for some time. Use potholders
when transporting the device.
❐ Please observe our operating notes in order to avoid risks of burns, fires, injuries
to persons or damage to property.
❐ Always pull on the plug itself, never on the mains cord, in order to disconnect the
mains plug from the socket.
❐ Ensure that the food never comes into contact with the heating element in the
cover.
❐ In the event of a fire: Immediately disconnect the mains plug. Do not remove
the cover. Cover the device with a fire-proof cover or wet cloths. Stop using the
device and dispose of it.
❐ After use, immediately turn the device off.
❐ Attention! Fire hazard! Place the hot cover only on a planar, heat
resistant surface or on the attached cover holder.
