Mantel Iron

The requires the use of a service flap. The service flap is
supplied as a standard accessory.
NB: The appliance is supplied with the ignition cable
coiled. Decoil the cable after installation to prevent
leakage of the voltage, thus preventing poor ignition.
To ensure the ignition works properly, the ignition wire
must come into as little contact as possible with the metal
parts of the heater and should therefore not be wound
round the gas or pilot-light pipes or the thermocouple.
Build a chimney breast as shown in fig. 2a, depending on
whether you have a window on the left or right.
LUX vent component
To ensure a good heat discharge, the chimney breast
must be adequately vented. A vent component, the LUX
vent component, is available from your installer. The vent
component serves to ventilate the chimney breast.

Mantel Iron
An iron mantel is available by order from your installer.
A mantel serves to support the brickwork above the
fireplace, enabling the stress-free installation of the
appliance.
Shorten the iron mantel to the required length and lay it
on the brickwork. We advise you to use 70 till max. 100
mm thick bricks.
Position the iron mantel as illustrated in fig. 3.
Fix the threaded rod provided onto the corner of the
iron mantel with two nuts (1). Remove the hook with the
right-handed thread from the tightening screw (2) and
screw in the threaded rod. Fix the tightening screw (2)
with the hook (3) to the eye (4) to the other side. Fix
the eye to the wall with a rawlplug. Level it all using the
tightening screw.
