Method
Cover your bowl with three layers of greased
greaseproof paper and a layer of foil. Tie
securely. For a 454g (1 lb) pudding pour

pt) boiling water into the

cooking pot.
Pour 450ml (16fl oz) boiling water into the
cooking pot
Whisk the ingredients together. Strain into a
568ml (1pt) bowl. Cover with two layers of
greaseproof paper tied securely. Pour 300ml

pt) cold water into the cooking pot

Put in cooking pot and stir well. It'll thicken
and absorb milk after cooking
Cream the sugar and margarine. Beat in the
eggs. Fold in the flour and a little milk for a
soft-dropping consistency. Put in a greased
