5.5. TOOL/ACCESSORY
UNCOUPLING
[ fig. 11, 11A, 12 and 12A]
• Switch the machine's engine off,
hold the handle (12), pull it outwards,
turn it until the pin clicks into the hole
in pos. B and release. The wheel must
be resting on the ground and facing
outwards
[12, fig. 08]
• Make sure that the PTO lever [22] is
in the neutral
• Release the parking brake by mov-
ing the lever [25] into the position of

• Open the fixing hooks moving the le-
ver [26] into the position
• Exert pressure on the handlebars
from below upwards in such a way that
the front of the machine slides off the
tool.
5.6. CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Never carry out adjustments with the
engine switched on. Always remove the
ignition key and/or the spark plug cap
before working on the accessory to pre-
vent sudden or unexpected starting.

After switching the accessory off, leave

ast 15-20 minutes before approaching.

Always wear gloves and safety shoes
and use proper equipment when adju-
sting the cutting height.
The grassland mower is supplied with a 5
cm cutting height (min. height). To adjust
the height to 7 cm or 9 cm: loosen all of the
four knobs (2) without unscrewing them
completely lift the grassland mower to the
required height (3 grasping the knobs).
Gradually tighten the knobs to lock them
in the intermediate (4) or high (5) position.
Follow this procedure to lower it.
5.7. PRELIMINARY CHECKS TO BE
MADE EACH TIME BEFORE STARTING

THE MACHINE

When the working day begins, before
starting the machine carry out the follow-
ing checks:
• Make sure all safety devices are wor-
king properly, check the status and the
condition of all protective guards and en-
sure they are in place.
