R&S ETC
2.1.11

RF IN

See (9) in
Fig.
2-1.
N female connector used to connect the DUT to the R&S ETC. Make sure not to
overload it and follow the instructions in the NOTICE below.
Shock hazard
Be careful not to cause short-circuits. Never exceed the value for the DC input
voltage specified on the housing. Ensure that the R&S ETC is switched off and
disconnected from the power supply by removing the plug from the AC power
connector before touching the RF input.
Risk of instrument damage
The RF input is AC-coupled. The DC voltage must never exceed the value
specified on the housing since this can damage the R&S ETC. The RF input is
protected against static discharges and voltage pulses by limiting circuits.
The maximum permissible continuous power at the RF input is 20 dBm (100 mW).
The RF input can be loaded with up to 30 dBm (1 W) for a maximum of three
minutes. Loading with 1 W for an extended period of time can damage the
R&S ETC.
Use a suitable double-shielded cable to connect RF IN.
