AC Power Supply Connector and Switch

The IEC 320 / EN 60320 AC power supply connector and the AC power switch are
combined (type C14). The AC power switch is located below the AC power connector.
Switch positions:
● I: The R&S ETC is in operation.
● O: The R&S ETC is disconnected from the AC power supply entirely.

1PPS IN

Used to connect a 1PPS input signal for use with the GPS receiver (R&S HA-Z240,
order no. 1309.6700.02 ).

REF IN/TRIGGER IN

See (3) in
Fig.
2-2.
BNC female connector used for the following inputs:
● External trigger signal to start a measurement. The trigger threshold is similar to that
of TTL signals.
● 10 MHz external reference for frequency synchronization. The reference signal level
must be > 0 dBm.
Select the input in the SETUP menu (SETUP key, INSTRUMENT SETUP menu).
Risk of instrument damage
Never apply currents above 600 mA or voltages above 28 V to the BNC socket.
Use a suitable double-shielded cable to connect REF IN/TRIGGER IN.
