10. Guarantee

Please check the all the goods have been delivered and are intact. If
you have any cause for complaint, please contact Customer Services
direct. ErgoOne® pipettes are guaranteed for 36 months from the
delivery date, providing that the product is used according to the op-
erating instructions. The guarantee is not valid in the event of damage
or defects caused by improper use. The guarantee covers repairs to or
replacement of the equipment. Our "General terms and conditions"
apply. STARLAB reserves the right to make changes to specifications
without prior notice in order to implement short-term innovations.

11. Intended use

The ErgoOne® pipette is designed and constructed for low-contami-
nation transfer of liquids. Proper use can only be guaranteed if the ori-
ginal STARLAB pipette tips listed in the table under section "9 Pipette
Tip Compatibility" are used. ErgoOne® pipettes are manufactured to
high quality standards. Each pipette is marked with an individual serial
number behind the tip ejector button.
The test results of the EN ISO 8655 quality test are also documented
in a test record. The test record is delivered as a separate "Declaration
of Conformity" document with each pipette. Please note the following
points:
• The pipette must only be used indoor by trained laboratory staff
with the necessary experience.
• Check the pipette and pipette tip* before first use.
Use only original STARLAB products.
• Read and follow the operating guidelines thoroughly.
If you have any questions contact STARLAB.
• Regularly check your test system and define test intervals.
• Document all checks.
• Have your pipettes cleaned and calibrated regularly
by the STARLAB pipette service.
* Before each liquid transfer, check that your pipette tips are in good
condition. Check the accuracy of the selected tip and define internal
reference samples for visual comparisons. Make sure the pipette tip
is properly attached to the tip holder. Only use the pipette tips once.
