Assembly
•
Lead the flexible hose (6) through
the existing channel (8).
•
Attach the sliding part (4) to the
bottom of the flexible tube and
secure it with two self-tapping
screws (5).
•
Keep the bottom of the sliding
part flush with the bottom of the
channel or with the ceiling. Cut the
flexible tube at approximately 100
mm above the head of the chim-
ney.
•
Attach the roof flange (9) to the
flexible tube and clamp it with the
hose clip (7); secure the whole by
means of a self-tapping screw.
•
Attach the roof flange ( 9 ) to the
head of the chimney by means of
silicone kit and stainless screws.
•
Install the roof terminal (11) and
secure it with the supplied locking
band (10).
•
After assembly, the sliding part (4)
will protrude about 100 mm under
the smoke channel or the ceiling.
•
Attach the lower flange (3) leak-
proof to the bottom of the smoke
channel or against the bottom of
the concrete floor by means of
silicone and screws.
•
Install the unit (1) as indicated in
the installation instructions.
•
Connect the unit with the bottom
of the smoke channel by means of
Metaloterm US concentric pipe
sections. All elements must be
engaged into each other at least
by 30 mm and secured against
loosening by means of locking
band (USKB 10) or stainless self-tapping screws. Extend the concentric pipes by
minimum 100 mm into the existing smoke channel. The sliding part (4) must
thus overlap the inner tube of the upper c oncentric US section by about 200 mm;
if not, the flexible hose will be crooked in the chimney and compromise proper
functioning of the system.
•
Finally, manually tighten the locking band of the lower flange (3) inside.
