•
Make sure the washer is in good
conditions. Once the washer is
fitted, manually screw the spark
plug to avoid damaging the
thread.
•
Tighten using the spanner sup-
plied in the tool kit, make the
spark plug complete 1/2 a turn
to press the washer.
•
Insert the spark plug tube cor-
rectly so that it does not detach
with engine vibrations.
•
Refit the right inspection cover.
CAUTION
TIGHTEN THE SPARK PLUG COR-
RECTLY, OTHERWISE THE ENGINE
MAY OVERHEAT AND GET IRRE-
TRIEVABLE DAMAGED. USE ONLY

SPARK PLUG, OTHERWISE, THE EN-
GINE DURATION AND PERFORM-
ANCE COULD BE COMPROMISED.

Spark plug tightening torque:
12 ÷ 14 Nm (1.2 ÷ 1.4 kg).

Controleer de afstand van de
elektroden met een diktemeter,
en regel de afstand eventueel
door de massaelektrode voor-
zichtig te buigen.

Controleer of de rondel zich in
goede condities bevindt. Met
gemonteerde rondel, draait men
de bougie manueel vast om te
vermijden dat de schroefdraad
wordt beschadigd.
•
Sluit de bougie met behulp van
de in de gereedschapskit bijge-
voegde sleutel, door ze een 1/2
draai vast te draaien om de ron-
del vast te drukken.
•
Plaats de pipet van de bougie
correct, zodat deze niet loskomt
door de vibraties van de motor.
•
Hermonteer het rechter inspec-
tiedeksel.
