7.6 FEEDER BELT REPLACEMENT

WARNING
Eliminate the pressure from the installation by discon-
necting the safety valve and locking it with a padlock.
Then set the main switch to 0 (zero), locking it with a
padlock.

• Remove the screws and washers A (Fig. 66).
• Remove the cover B (Fig. 67) and open the feeder.
• Remove the tightening screws C (Fig. 68), remove the
F
tightening rod D, the feed roller rod E and the feed roller F
(Fig. 68).
Remove the screws and washers H (Fig. 69), using key I.
Remove the motor J (Fig. 70). When removing the motor, be
careful not to pull on the cable, as this may damage the in-
ternal connections.
The drive shaft, drive roller and the bearing K (Fig. 70) will
also come out with the motor J.
• Remove the 10 screws and washers L (Fig. 71), extract the
feeder wheel assembly and replace the used belt N (Fig. 71)
H
with a new one.
• Remount the feeder wheel assembly M (Fig. 71), along with
the belt.
• Mount the motor, keeping in mind the positioner O (Fig. 70)
and fitting the bearing K (Fig. 70) in its housing.
• Mount the feed roller F (Fig. 68) and its shaft E, keeping in
mind that it is divided into two parts. Be careful to mount it
with the bearings towards the outside of the roller.
• Mount the tightening rod D (Fig. 68) and the two tighte-
ning screws C.
• Tighten the belt, ensuring that the teeth are correctly en-
gaged.
