Push the Engine Speed Switch (28) backward to the ( l ) IDLE POSITION. (If the engine is hard-starting, try setting the Engine Speed Switch forward to the ( lll )
FULL THROTTLE POSITION.)

Turn the Key Ignition Switch (45) clockwise to the START position and release it as soon as the engine starts. If the engine does not start after cranking for 15
seconds, release the Key, wait for 1 minute, then try again.

Let the engine run at a moderate speed for 5 minutes before using the machine.

Move the machine around for 2 or 3 minutes at a slow speed to warm up the hydraulic system.
Always operate the machine with the Engine Speed Switch at ( lll ) FULL THROTTLE POSITION.
Use the Forward/Reverse Drive Pedal (47) - not the Engine Speed Switch - to control the travel speed of the machine. The travel speed will increase as the pedal is
pushed closer to the fl oor. Do not press the Forward/Reverse Drive Pedal until the engine has started.
