The LPG tank is located behind the drivers seat , open Right Rear Access Door (19). A decal on the door gives information about the proper type of tank to be used
on the machine.
To install the LPG tank unlatch and swing the bracket to the side. Mount a standard 14.96 kg vertical liquid withdraw LPG tank and secure in place with mount

INSTALLING THE SCRUB BRUSHES

WARNING!
Only use the brushes provided with the appliance or those specifi ed in the instruction manual. The use of other brushes may impair
safety.
Four Scrub Brushes (9) are shipped with the machine. To install them, fi rst raise the brush drive assembly (start the engine, put the Brush Raise-Lever (32) in the UP
position, this will raise the brush mounting plates, then stop the engine). Slide the brushes under the mounting plates and lift them so that the lugs pass through the
slots in the holders. Lock the brushes in place by twisting them so they engage the spring locks.
CAUTION!
Be sure to install the correct brushes for your fl oor. Nilfi sk-Advance will not be held responsible for any damage to fl oor surfaces.
Scarifi er and Grinding Stone kits are available for use on this machine. See your Nilfi sk-Advance Distributor for details.
CAUTION!
Use care when using scarifi er discs and grinding stones. Nilfi sk-Advance will not be held responsible for any damage to fl oor surfaces
caused by scarifi ers or grinding stones.

FILLING THE SOLUTION TANK

Use the correct chemical solution for the job at hand. See your Authorized Nilfi sk-Advance Distributor for types of cleaning chemicals and their applications.
Fill the solution tank through the Solution Tank Fill (20) with 208 liters of clean water and the proper ratio of cleaning chemical. Mix powdered chemicals with water in
a bucket before putting them into the solution tank. Do not fi ll the tank over 7.62 cm from the top of the tank.
CAUTION!
Cleaning product must be low-sudsing and non-fl ammable. Water temperature should not exceed 130 degrees fahrenheit (54.4 degrees
celsius)
ADJUSTING THE SOLUTION FLOW CONTROL VALVES
The two Solution Flow Control Valves (10) are adjustable to allow variable solution fl ow depending upon the type of fl oor to be scrubbed. A rough or absorbent fl oor
surface, such as unfi nished cement, will require more solution fl ow than a smooth or fi nished fl oor surface.
To adjust the fi nal solution fl ow to the Brushes (9) fi rst turn the Key Ignition Switch (45) to the ON position (do not start engine), turn ON the Solution Switch (37) and push
forward the manual Solution Lever (34). Note: Start with the Solution Lever (34) about 1/3-1/2 open. Next press forward on the Drive Pedal (47) to activate the solution
solenoid valve this will start the solution fl ow. Then adjust the two Solution Flow Control Valves (10) so that cleaning solution is dispensed evenly on both sides.
Note: Do not use too much solution, as it can affect sweeping effectiveness and pick-up performance.
